I think this is the right time to change…And the right time to let something go, and replace it with something else…for a while.

Everybody who knew me on a personal level, it’s nothing new that music is playing a big part of my life.
I was always into music not just because I enjoyed listening to it, but because I enjoyed sharing the same passion, the same feeling with people who like the same kind of music – with you. That was the reason why Synapse was born, back in 2009, a few days after my 16th birthday. I had a dream to spread the love for the music I love, and experience that feeling together with thousands of people. And it happened over the years as I founded Synapse, so I’m very proud regarding that.

I came up with a hard decision in the last few days… I mean, really hard, because as I said, music is a huge part of myself, but I realized this is not the tool that will lead me to success in life. Well, not saying that I ever expected to get money from this all…The money should go directly to the producers of the tracks you can find here, so don’t forget to support them.

I decided to leave music, and leave Synapse behind…But not forever. I am working on another project which will predictably lead me to where I want to be …And since it depends only on me, I have to entirely dedicate myself to it (Though I might publish a tracklist here and there). That is the general reason I made this decision. But, what results I am expecting in the end? I will quit from the music world for a year or two, work hard on what I do, earn enough money and make a huge comeback to Synapse…My plans are to completely re-write the whole site on a professional level, which obviously requires a nice amount of money.

On the other hand, I’m turning 21 years old this year (September 12), and I don’t want to put my life to depend on luck. I want to live a quality life, and I feel like I’m ready to do whatever it takes to achieve that. This covers mostly the financial security. Otherwise I’m more than fine, thank god.
Basicly the project I am working on, is the tool to achieve my dreams, to become financially independent in a period of 3 to 5 years, and to make Synapse to the final road, the way I want to see it. The way you see this project is basicly just a beta phase in my opinion (or even alpha, maybe. Hehe).
It’s better to stay away for a while and later take the whole thing to the next level, than to keep standing at one point and lose motivation for everything.

Now the second part…Don’t worry, Synapse is not closing it’s gates. Myth will continue doing what he does, and I am really thankful for his hard work (especially for the last 6-8 months). He will try to do the best, and I hope you will still be able to find what you are looking for here, and why you are here.
This time, I also want to thank all of you for your continuous support. I want a new Synapse, and I need to do something else before I can make it happen…And in the end, I want many suprised smiling faces behind the screens when the new Synapse will come alive.
I imagined the whole thing from a new point of view…To form a gigantic community of nice people who appreciate quality music, and have fun together as a family.
Synapse “v2″ will be as much about you as it is about us, and our vision of music.

I also feel this all like a milestone in my life – I feel a bit sad about it, that I’m leaving you guys for a while, but the only thing that keeps me strong is that I know the best is yet to come.
